Theory Programs
The feature elements included in the crane training school includes information concerning power-line safety, regulations, inspection, and site hazards involved in crane operation. Individuals training would gain understanding about hardware applications, load charts and rigging. Quizzes and direct feedback throughout the course would help individuals training solidify their knowledge.
Theory course topics: Safety fundamentals for crane operators; introduction to crane certification process; rigging knowledge; crane operation knowledge; load chart knowledge; crane rigging charts; communications knowledge; crane set-up & pre-trip inspections, and crane service and maintenance.
Practical Programs
The crane training school comprises practical training including hands-on learning. This component teaches trainees how to identify crane terminology and components. People training will have the opportunity to practice skills needed for crane signaling, operating and signaling.
The topics included in the practical section includes: Identify crane components and functions; Learn crane terminology; identify rigging and wire ropes; utilize remote control; identify regulations and documents for rigging and wire rope; pre-use inspection on crane; perform rigging techniques; utilize hand signals and radio; and carry out right lowering and lifting of loads.
