There is no movement by the order picker in the sorting systems method. Rather, products are brought to the orderpicker by an automatic system like a conveyor system or an automatic storage system. In the zone picking method, each order picker is assigned to one specific zone. They are responsible for just realizing order picking in this particular zone.
